It’s a Mako stock & adaptor. It’s much better than the Tapco one that came with it. That said, I may look into a ‘recoil reducing’ stock (mostly just because I like to tinker…:smiley: )

Outstanding review my friend! Awaiting delivery of my Vepr 12 shotgun here shortly. Ecstatic to say the least. Timing is perfect as I was in the process of going forth in having my Saiga 12 converted. Saved me the time, hassle, + money.

Christmas came early, my friends!Fit and finish is outstanding. Blows my Saiga-12 out the water. I look forward to paying a visit to the range tomorrow with her. If I am a betting man, I reckon she will replace my Saiga-12 as my new favorite shotgun.

Glad to see more options coming out in the detachable mag fed shotgun area. This looks like a winner.

nice cartel, received mine from BHA couple weeks back and very happy with the purchase. really want to go old school style but the top polymer hg is freeegin hard to remove. borrowed some stuff from my rpk for now, the stock tube is from caa (aluminum) to fit the thicker receivers, and using a MFT stock, my romy rpk wire side folder also fits

Got a MD Arms Molot grip and a KVAR Warsaw-length stock to get this beast 922r compliant. Also got a few of the 12-round SGM mags to play with. Of course, I can’t use them until I file down the stock enough to fit into the RPK-thick receiver. The KVAR stock is just a stopgap until I have enough cash on hand to get some kind of US-made sidefolder, possibly ACE. Does anyone know the proper length of ACE stock to use with the flush-fit receiver block in order to duplicate the Warsaw-length stock’s dimensions?

Also, has anyone tried using one of the Krebs aperture sights with it? I’d like to have some kind of decent irons on there in case the dot goes TU.

Finally, after much annoying filing, I got the KVAR buttstock fitted to my VEPR. Got a T1 Micro clone affixed to the top cover. Got my SGM 12-rounders ready to rock. Now I just need to get to the range and let fly. I might take it skeet shooting just to see the horror on the faces of all the Fudds.

I’ve been meaning to get another VCAS sling and find a way to interface it with an AK front hook, and this may be the impetus I need. Until then, the plain-jane AK sling will suffice.
