Master Sergeant Benavidez was a true warrior. He was an inspiration to the Mexican-American community where I live, you see autographed pictures of him in several local businesses. He was staring down adversity well before that fateful day in VN, his drive to succeed was inspiring.
Dude was a grade A badass.
