This rail is designed for those with a carbine length gas system and a standard A2 front sight gas block. This extends out 11 inches. As you can see there is a cutout for your front sight to protrude through. Locks up very well but it does have some weight to it. If you’re not ready for the more expensive rails this will certainly serve it’s purpose. Sells new for roughly $65+shipping so I’ll let it go for $45 shipped within the CONUS. Comes with all screws and hardware to mount and 15 of the original 18 panel pieces (after 4 moves over the last 4 years things tend to get lost 
). This rail utilizes the factory delta ring/barrel nut setup for mounting. Excellent shape, very little use.
