USMC Marked Micro Rear Sights.

I read this thread:
https://www.m4carbine.net/showthread.php?t=109523
and I had a few questions regarding some of the information within.

Let’s speak in hypotheticals.

Let’s say someone found a set of the USMC marked micro rears from the gun show. These sights may have come in all the normal packaging you receive when purchasing KAC products; the white box with part number label on top and sealed plastic bag. Said vendor may or may not have had about a dozen of these on his table as well as other KAC products(non USMC marked micros included) so said vendor looks to be at least reputable.

Now if that person was to purchase these sights, they’d be in possession of stolen US Government property? What should someone do with said property?

Contact your local federal field or satellite office and turn over said property while providing supporting information as to when, where, and from who it was purchased.

First I suppose we’d have to answer the question, how do you KNOW its stolen?

*nevermind, just read the other thread. That does present some issues if the info provided is factual.

Sure cuz that’s the right thing to do
