A friend wants to give me a spare ASAP. He says we can run my BFG VCAS using the ASAP after we cut off the slider of the ASAP. I can’t figure out how to do this. Any ideas?
If I recall correctly, Rob Sloyer did exactly that. Do a search with his user name “rob_s” and try adding things like sling and ASAP.
You might try checking out his blog as well.
Does your buddy’s VCAS have the QD sling swivel’s already sewn in? If so, you may want to check out these folks:

Thanks for the advice. When I got to work he had already cut off the slider. I think it would work better with the slider on but we’ll see. I may just use the QD cups on my CTR.
