I pulled this muzzle device off of a SCAR I bought from a friend. This is the SCAR correct flash hider for LEGACY Surefire cans (meaning, it won’t work with SOCOM cans). Since it was designed for the SCAR, it will index off of the muzzle face, and does not need a barrel shoulder as an index point.
Please note that this is the CLOSED prong (aka “birdcage”) style hider, not an open prong unit.
This hider has also been drilled for the purposes of pinning. The drill location has been touched up in SuperBlack to keep the metal safe.
Estimated round count through the flash hider is ~1500 rounds. As stated, this is USED.
When new, these retailed for $120+, if you could find them. Surefire didn’t make very many of these from what I’ve heard.
