Checking the UPS tracking on a package I have coming, and it’s showing “Delay”. For anyone familiar, what’s the longest a UPS shipment has been delayed for you?
Translation: We’re not sure where it actually is. And it’s unlikely any of our worthless piece of shit employees care.
Generally a week.
This. They’ll eventually get it to you though most likely.
Who ****ing knows with those guys.
Weather events are the most legit reasons to get one.
UPDATE: Checked a few minutes ago and the “Delay” tag was gone. So I don’t know what that was all about - possibly weather as has been suggested?
Probably missed the truck or wrong one. Ups and fedex parcel will typically make it. USPS it was stolen by a worker
I once had the delivery Newman lose a package in the back of his truck for SIX MONTHS. Package got all the way to my buddy’s post office, even AHEAD of schedule… the last two updates are “loaded on truck” then “out for delivery” then it just up and disappears… and then mysteriously turns up in his mailbox six months later, no worse for the wear.
I’ve had UPS driver(s) steal plates I’ve ordered. Ordered four sets of ten pound plates, only three pairs shows up, ordered a set of 25 pound plates, only one plate showed up, had replacement plates show up, single 10 pounder missing. Thank goodness Rogue is understanding and shipped out replacements immediately each time.
I had UPS steal 2 iPhones back to back about 6 weeks ago. Apple had to ship out a third that did actually arrive. 2 outta 3 ain’t good.
Thievery goes on within UPS, that I’m certain of. It probably happens occasionally with FedEx as well. USPS missing packages are most likely a combination of thievery and incompetence with a compounding factor of no one at USPS actually giving a shit.
