The question was raised in another recent thread concerning whether the Bobro CompM4 quick release mount was compatible with the newer Aimpoint M4s. I spoke this morning with the good folks at Rainier Arms and learned the following:

Original Bobro M4 mounts will work fine with the new M4s if you’re using the spacer. Without the spacer, there is an issue concerning clearance with the lower battery tube.

Bobro has since updated their M4 mount such that it will work with both the M4 and M4s, in either the spacer or spacerless configuration.

Rainier Arms’ stock on hand now consists of the newer upgraded version.
Hope that clears up any confusion. BTW, I placed my online order with Rainier Arms yesterday, Sunday afternoon, at around 1630. I received my shipping confirmation this morning at 1000.
