Looks like they have copied the MOE stock and a few other updates.
Accuracy comparison of the new Ruger standard 10/22 above to a 10/22 Carbon model using cheap bulk ammo through better quality ammo.
The carbon group average he got was 0.2” smaller than the standard which may indicate what I was guessing is correct that there wouldn’t be much performance difference. I assume the roughly 1/2 pound weight difference really wouldn’t be noticeable in use either if my assumption that most of the weight is back towards the receiver.
Still think the carbon version is neat, but from the specs, his results, and the cost difference i think I would go with the standard model if buying one today.
And he demo’s one with an aftermarket barrel and most other parts to show the difference that makes.
