For my Birthday, my wonderful wife got me a .22LR conversion from Target Master (I actually bought it) $136 shipped direct from Target Master with a quality Black Dog X-Form mag, not el cheapo CMMG mag…big plus on why I went with this
Now I know that there is a huge benefit of going dedicated…but not all of us can fork out a dedicate 22LR rifle.
Reasons I went with this over CMMG is ALL US MADE PARTS, quality mag, better fit and finish IMHO compared to CMMG plus all units are test fired
Test fitting into the rifle was smooth. One thing I noticed is very good fit between the TM bolt and the buffer (it detents the buffer plunger to keep positive pressure against the bolt)
It comes in a great package with a pouch, welds are nice and even, the finish is semi gloss black, it has a great extractor with a polished feed lip 
I will have an initial 500rnd break in review coming up when I got to the range on Wednesday and Friday
