If you buy one, when was it made? I have heard that Colt doesn’t really produce these for the civilian market and if you buy one, it is a preban weapon that has been mothballed away for a decade.
Am I totally off base here, or all the 6520’s that you could buy (new) made after the sunset of The Ban?
I’ve gotten a bunch of AR6520s over the last two years. Most recent production have been Diemaco guns. Prior to that, they were Hartford guns, but new production.
AR6520s are fairly plentiful right now, and available to all.
No. What I used, IIRC, was a used, stripped, Colt M4 upper. It’s been nearly two years now though and frankly I don’t remember much about it except that I bought it from ADCO and it was a Colt.
The 6520 was sold before the ban, during the ban and still now to this day. Colt does not sell them in their civilian line, but they are easily available to civilians. In the sporter line they were the 6530. There exists also a couple of non LEO marked “grey” colored guns. I dont know if they are special but that’s about it.
You are not even on the same subject.
So you cant prove anything, and you didnt own anybody. and the rifle are still near identical. You are the one being smart a$$. You are a self appointed Colt man and that is it. I will put my Colt knowledge any day against yours. Dont worry, I know who you are. I bought stuff from you in the past.
