one rouge wave and bye bye yacht.
I’m sure they have thought of every way possible to make that yacht as safe as can be.
HOWEVER, I do not believe that any vessel existing in the world could handle a true “rogue” wave.
But I’m sure that yacht is about as safe as can be under realistic conditions. Pretty stunning might I add:eek:
im sure they did. but theirs no way of stopping it.
a rogue wave can be upwards of 100 ft high and travel at speeds over 40kph (est)
i believe over the summer a cruise liner was hit by one and nearly capsized,
if a rogue wave can nearly drop a cruise liner. what makes u think that thing has anything but a snowballs chance in hell?
I beg to differ, a US navy warship with the right material conditions set could survive a true “rogue” wave.
Boats have survived them but with lots of damage. I imagine a decent rogue wave would take any US ship out of the game for a bit.
These things take out ships many tens of times bigger than this yacht…thus why worry about a rogue wave in this vessel? Doesnt matter what design the thing is. Its going down.
ok, ill rephrase.
man i hope they dont leave one of the doors open on accident. a somewhat rough sea condition and the water will get everywhere!!!:p:p:p:p:p:p:p:p
As an Architect, All I can say is WOW
I have seen few land based homes designed this well. Truly beautiful!
Agreed. It is indeed a thing of beauty. The way the lines flow is simply fantastic.
It looks like a huge tongue.
And here I was expecting an LST to Yacht conversion . … ugly as sin, but how else can you go yachting someplace and drive your fancy car right up on shore?

That WHY is a pretty ship, I think Obama deserves one.
not only that, the use of PV on a lot of the surfaces, the sun deck and interior space lay out, use of natural light. Very well done.
Stunning. If I had a couple billion in the bank, that’d be on my list of things to buy for sure. Hell, that trumps most luxury homes I’ve seen and you can haul ass in it to boot.
Looks luxurious and all, but where do you mount the cannons?
Anyone who has ever been on a Ramform in anything but perfect weather conditions can tell you it is definitely a unique experience. ‘Unprecedented stability’ it is not.
The sunbeds located where the gun deck usually is should be especially entertaining given that the gun deck is usually covered in ankle-height sea water at all times when the sea isn’t flat.
Sold.
Write me up.
Exactly, and much funny reading you state it than it was when I was trying to think it.
WOW!!! “swirling vortex of death”
Rogue wave schmoge wave, I’d have 20 naked supermodels on there and not give a damn!!!
