Just a quick question for the AK experts around here.
Will the LT-152 (The RAS II mount for the fullsize Aimpoint) co-witness on an Ultimak scout rail?
If it doesn’t is the offset a whole bunch? or just a bit over the sight line?
I know the Micro T-1 is what a lot of people run on the AK with Ultimak, but funds don’t allow for that at the moment.
If anyone has any similar setups with full size Aimpoints on Ultimaks, I’d love to see them.
An Aimpoint in a Larue RAS2 will not cowitness on an Ultimak. The sights end up being in line with the bottom of the sight, if memory serves.
A full size Aimpoint will cowitness on an Ultimak if you use the lowest Aimpoint branded QD ring. I think it’s this one: http://www.mountsplus.com/thestore/prods/AIM-12243.html
My Trijicon Tri-power with these rings allows me to co-witness my iron sights on my Arsenal / Ultimak combo.

I will confirm that sub z is correct. Before using my Aimpoint micro I had an M2 with the standard Aimpoint ring on there and it worked. The RAS2 Larue is too high. If you have not yet ordered your Ultimak tube yet check around there sight, that is where I purchased my Aimpoint mount from.
I used the mount that came with my C3, works great

If you can get your hands on an old Springfield 30mm scope ring, that is pretty much the lowest you can go. Works great with my ML2.
