Lenin was the prophet of Marxism. Sooner or later some idiot would have come up with a “everybody share everything” form of government, I mean if a kindergarten teacher can come up with it, anyone can come up with it. But it was Lenin who said “No seriously, let’s try this and see if it works for millions of people.”

Had the Germans not sent Lenin to Russia with the hopes of undermining everything and forcing them to drop out of the war (and it worked). we might have been spared the entire communist experiments of the 20th century.

Lenin was a product of Marx, and Marx was a product of someone else, ect ad infinitum. If we’re going to follow the causal chain long enough, I bet we end up at the Garden of Eden before too long. The problem is, and always has been, that man is corrupted by power or even the idea of it. How do we fix the root problem?

It’s easier than that. The problem is statism in all it’s forms. When the state exists at the expense of the individual, you have statism. I don’t care if you call it communism, socialism, national socialism, fascism or democratic socialism…the individual can NEVER be free because he must serve the state. Only when the state is secondary to the individual, do you have a free citizen who is not beholden to the state. This is what was intended with the Bill of Rights and why the BoR has been continuously attacked by statists who seek to erode it over time.

Now you can still have representative government, you need not default to anarchy, but the citizen owes nothing to the state and indeed the state is limited and restrained in it’s powers to govern the citizen. But it’s been a long time since that was actually the case and it’s only been true during a few brief windows of our history and has probably never held true for every citizen of this country.

People enter government because they are essentially statist.

The Russians are the bad actors here. But I agree with the gist of this article. The Ukrainians definitely miscalculated taking a side in the US elections (even if it looked like a safe bet). The Russians clearly also colluded with the Clinton crowd to spread the “Trump is a Russian asset” horseshit. None of this changes the fact that Putin is evil, and the Russians have invaded a nation that was no threat to them in any real sense under completely false pretenses. They are murdering innocent civilians on a massive scale and we should do everything we practically can to help them (short of no fly zones, nuclear war, etc).

So anarchy is the answer? I’m having trouble following your statements with any logical conclusions. Joining the military is joining the government, is anyone that served hence a statist by default?
