My understanding is that some Glock models are now entirely US made. Quality-wise, are these comparable to the Austrian made ones?
My dad has a U.S. made G19 in his lineup and aside from the black finish being a bit less shiny, and the U.S. on the slide vs Austria, it works the same as the Austrian ones. His, surprisingly doesn’t boot brace to face though like my last 4 9mm Glocks did.
Mine are good to go.
USA made Glocks are marked as such. They have four letter prefixes starting with A. Some have a proof mark on the slide, barrel, and frame that is the shape of the state of GA with a small “p” in the middle.
