U.S. Forces Join Police Raids in Ecuador

Via code name “Super Bad” via her YT channel. I do wonder how/if that fits with the fact Erik Prince was brought in to assist in Ecuador last year or so, and what her take/opinion is on that:

"Ecuadorian police launched a major counter-narcotics operation against a cocaine-trafficking network. More than 320 Ecuadorian police took part, but this operation stood out because about 50 personnel from U.S. Southern Command and the Drug Enforcement Administration joined the raids.

In this episode of The Watch Floor, I break down what the American personnel were doing on the ground, the technology and capabilities they brought with them, and why Ecuador has become such an important transit point for cocaine moving from South America into international shipping networks.

The operation also raises a bigger question. The United States has trained, advised and supported Ecuadorian forces for years. Now U.S. personnel are accompanying police into residences during raids and helping exploit what is seized inside. Is this a one-time operation against a major trafficking network, or are we seeing the beginning of a more direct U.S. role alongside Ecuadorian forces?"

Saying “I would rather fight them There” is what got us in Vietnam, but these are Drug Traffickers, so I take No Issue with it on the surface.
As long as we know we are working with the Good Guys and not propping up a Dictator, I think we’re good. I think Eric Prince adds a bit of legitamacy.

I don’t understand this about Drug Dealers.
If you have something working, why not keep it on the downlow and make a steady supply of Money? Just STFU, keep your head down appear legit and live a long, long quiet Life?
No, they all want to be El Chapo or Pablo Escobar. Get in to Politics, Blow up some planes, kill some Politicans.

I’m 65, so this was mayebe 1974 and my Dad told me, “I’ve got a job for you,” I was about 12 maybe 13 and the old Man caddy corner to our House wanted some yard work done. So I go meet Mr Tooney, he said just call me Mr Tooney, I’m Dutch and you cannot pronounce my name. He was dressed like something out of a 1950’s Issue of “Gentlemans Quarterly”.
So I do the work and collect a little scratch and go see my Dad and he asked me a bit about Mr “Tooney”
A couple years later after Mr “Tooney” passed my Dad told me he was at one time the Biggest Bootlegger in North West Indiana and had actually hid John Dillenger out in an Apratment above his Garage.
Now Gentlemen that my Friends was a true Gangster.
