Authorities are searching for two suspects who allegedly fired shots at a group of soldiers at the Camp Shelby Joint Forces Training Center.

Could be, or a couple of beer-fueled jackasses who have a hard-on for the Jade Helm exercise. It seems Camp Shelby (where my FIL trained for WWII) is one of the operational hubs for Jade Helm. The truck from which the shots were fired supposedly had a broken arrow painted in it.
What is the significance of the broken arrow? Not familiar with it as a sign or symbol beyond loss of a weapon.

I am glad that none of our service members were injured. I do hope the persons responsible are apprehended quickly, and no good folks are hurt.
This is new, today, 8/5, more shots, reportedly in the air. How do you know that shots are fired into the air or at something if you only hear it?

DUH! Because they didnt find any bullet holes!! And everyone knows finding bullet holes is super easy, especially if you dont know what the intended taret was.
I believe that the anti-Jade Helm crowd uses it as a symbol. Doesn’t it signify a unit being overrun? (I’m talking about radio parlance)

Yep, I googled ‘Broken Arrow Radio Code’ and found it is, or at least was in VietNam - from the book ‘We Were Soldiers’ -
Before dawn, Moore orders his company commanders to meet him prior to an attack to rescue the still cut-off platoon. Before this meeting takes place, the PAVN launch a heavy attack which shatters the early-morning stillness like a huge explosion. The attack is carried out by the 7th Bn, 66th Regiment and the H-15 Main Force Viet Cong Bn.
C Company of the Cavalry Battalion bears the brunt of the assault and is soon involved in hand to hand combat. The right portion of D/1/7 is also struck. The code word “Broken Arrow” is sent out over the radio by the Battalion Forward Air Controller. Within minutes, all available fighter bombers in South Vietnam are headed for X-ray to render close air support to “an American unit in grave danger of being overrun”. A 3 hour battle that features non-stop 105mm artillery, aerial rockets, and determined American Infantrymen, results in Charlie Company holding it’s ground in a stunning display of personal courage and unit discipline. But it pays a terrible price - no officers left and only 49 men unhurt. 42 officers and men killed; 20 wounded. Scores of slain North Vietnamese and their weapons litter the bloody battleground.
At noon, the 2nd Bn, 5th Cavalry marches into X-ray from a landing zone 2 miles east. Joining with the 7th Cavalry parent company of the cut-off platoon, it continues out unopposed, rescues it, and brings it back with all wounded and dead. Of the 29 man platoon, 9 killed and 13 wounded. When reached, the platoon, which had lost its Platoon leader, Platoon Sgt, and one Squad leader killed, had ammo left to fight with under the leadership of a 3 stripe “Buck Sergeant” Squad Leader.
C Co 1/7 Cav survivors are replaced on line by the fresh B Co 2nd Bn, 7th Cavalry. The battalion now forms a strong perimeter and prepares for more action in the night. All American dead and wounded are evacuated.
Broken Arrow is also supposed to mean the loss of a nuclear weapon or device, according to the internet anyway.
If you really want your brain to feel like melted butter, fire up your favorite search engine and type in " JADE HELM Broken Arrow" or “Broken Arrow JADE HELM” and follow some of the links and watch a few of those vids.
According to the internet, The JADE HELM symbol has all kinds of hidden meanings. There is a ghost image of a sabot clog in the middle over the two arrows that kinda makes the arrows appear broken which had folks claiming that JH is a false flag Broken Arrow op that is gonna involve the detonation of two nuclear weapons in CONUS. Another of the proposed theories was that because the clog in the middle matches ones that are still sold in Belgium (where CERN and the LHSC are) that have a decorative spiral symbol on them and the way it all lines up, the dagger in the is poking through the spiral which is supposed to represent something happening to the LHSC.
Then there where ties to Zionist theories because if you connect all the points for the JH symbol you get the star of David, or if you connected them another way you got the mark of the beast and of course the free masons were mentioned. I think my favorite though was that the clogs represented the shoes we were all going to be forced to wear when the .gov ends JH with nation wide martial law.
I have a feeling that if the authorities looked at these dude’s computers they will find out they were members of some of the forums that will come up if you do the search I mentioned above.
