Tuff mag holder with gun porn

Below is my S&W 1911 from the Performance Center with Tuff Products In Line mag pouch. I have the 8 rnd, but they make a 5 also. I have been using this product for a month or so now, and really like it. It’s a simple product, but well thought out. For example, the flap comes off via velcro. So you can use it as a general mag holder which sits in your bag, etc, and when you get to the range, you take the flap off, put it on your belt or vest, and you are GTG. I don’t know if anyone else makes anything quite like it or not, but I’m a fan…

How does it do for keeping the mags in the pouch when the flap is off and you are running around?

Looks like their double stack version might be a decent item for M&P mags with standard (large) baseplates.

Mags stay secure. I don’t know if I would hang upside down per se, but short of that, they are snug in their pouch.

Folks, did a review vid of the Tuff Products Inline mag Pouch:

How are reloads from that pouch? It seems like any sort of emergency reload wouldn’t be consistent since there isn’t much mag exposed to get a purchase on and because they are so close together.

Thanks.

It puts me in mind of the old Milt Sparks Six-Pack. Like the Sparks unit, I would see this as more of a holder for magazines in the range bag or luggage, than an on-the-belt unit.

Reloads are doable, but it’s not a speed reload set up to be sure. But I have reloaded from it many times and it worked fine. Depends on what you are trying to do.

I have worn it on a belt for a number of courses, and it was the best thing I brought with me. Obviously, not a CCW intended thing, but other then that, it’s the bomb.
