do you prefer a tube rail or a quad rail for a SHTF ar? i like the way tube rails keep everything slim but i dont like the pinch tab they use to lock onto the barrel nut. they mostly all use the same method, samson,troy, all except the DD MFR.
i really like the way a quad rail looks with the panels on it but i think you could do the same with a tube rail right?
also does one transfer heat better than the other or get not as hot?
