Anyone use one or have one that can tell me if its good quality? Any pros or cons?
Well, it’s pretty heavy Compared to most. Anything past that and I’d say it’s just as good as any other out there.
I like the modular aspect. Decent price.
I use it in a shorty set-up. It’s not too heavy that way. Looking back I should have got TD stubby one, but I wanted the option to have both lengths at my disposal, but since I just use thumb-break hold, I don’t need the length.
In fact, I’ll sell you mine, it’s FDE and gently used.

I put one on my wifes carbine. For 54.00 it was well worth it. It locks up solid and feels good.
It’s a rock solid, quality piece and comes in at a decent price.
I have one on my Recce build. I run it in the stubby configuration. The thing is about as bomb-proof as you can get.
Everything Troy makes is quality.
i’m happy with the TD stubby
just my 2 cents
hope that helps…
Nicely machined.
Good price.
A bit heavy for my personal tastes.

I like it, I am currently using it on a 11.5"SBR with it in the stubby configuration. In that configuration I do not think it weighs too much.
The thing that appeals to me is the knurling on it, it allows a positive grip whether you have gloves on or just your bare hand.
Disclaimer, I do sell the Troy Modular Combat Grip but above reasons are why I started stocking it.
