Hey everybody,
A local store has a ton of the Troy Industries 30rd battle mags in stock and I was wondering if they are worth a damn. This store typically carries PMAGs, Pro Mags, TAPCO, Lancer, etc. and always sells out of them within a day or two (thanks to current conditions) yet they have been sitting on the Troy Industries for close to two months. Admittedly they aren’t the most solid magazine i’ve ever held but are they that bad? Does anyone have any experience (good or bad) with em?
Thanks guys
Knot
Just as good as PMAGS and lighter…
I like them just as much as my Pmags. That rubber nubbin on the base plate has got to go. They’ve been the ones I seem to use most the last 6 months and have been solid and reliable. I’m not married to them by any means but so far, so good.
I’m new to the community here, I have a few of the Troy mags as Pmags were unavailable or outrageously over priced. I removed the little rubber thing from the bottom too. The one I used the other day worked great. No complaints. I also like the texture on them. I think the base plate is better designed on a Pmag but I don’t see myself fussing with it all that much.
