Ok im looking for an online retailer with a tritium bead 5-40 TPI for a Mossberg in stock. Anyone know of one? Im open to options, so if you have recommendations, shoot.

I just received my tritium bead (Mepro) from optics planet, I had it on order for about three weeks, I don’t know anyone else who has them in stock right now.
IMO, get the XS bead. You’ll need a brass bead to use as a base, then JB weld the XS on top.
I considered that. I dont see how it has an advantage over the screw in kind, and its double the cost with some modification required. But if its worth it, im in.
So what makes it better?
It is a big ass trit bead that you simply cannot miss day or night.

The tritium is surrounded by a large, white dot…which is VERY helpful in daylight.
It’s really not hard to install, either. Just put in a regular brass bread, then JB Weld the XS bead right on top. Hardest part is lining it up correctly.
For a visual aid, here is my Big Dot on an SBS. It’s daylight, the phone was several feet away from the dot, and you can still make it out.
I can dig all that. Now i know that ill need to modify my bead a little with a file, or dremel out the big dot a bit, and then jb weld the big dot over it. Thats simple enough to do.
Im gonna place my order at brownells in a few minutes.
Unless you put a huge bead on it, you shouldn’t need to modify anything.

The XS bead is good to go. I’ve had one on my 590A1 for 3 years and it’s had the crap beaten out of it as a truck gun with no issues.

I just received it from brownells and it even included the replacement bead that i needed! Awesome.
