About a month ago I talked to a Trijicon rep I know. He says that they’re going out slowly in very small numbers so far.

My opinion – the NF is more precision-oriented. I think the TR24 is a good choice for a 16" middy general purpose carbine, something you might consider instead an Aimpoint + magnifier combo. The NF would be a good choice for a stainless barrelled rifle, not quite an SPR but maybe what I’d call a RECCE setup (hopefully my understanding of that configuration jives with the commonly accepted version).

Now somebody hurry up and get some in stock so I can order one, my rifle is nekkid waiting for an optic and mount…

I think it depends on the reticle chosen as to it’s intended application

When my Larue mount gets here Monday, I’m going to see how I like my Nightforce and eventually compare it to the TR24G to see which I prefer for my use.

I called Trijicon last week and I was told 8-10 weeks before they would be available. She did say that some were released for T&E. I thought she said some had been sent to some dealers, but wouldn’t clarify any further.

Damn, must be some problems with it then. I was told 2 months before SHOT that it would be available right after SHOT. After SHOT, it then became 8-10 weeks. Now, it is 8-10 weeks more?

A few people have been able to pic them up here and there, but only in yellow triangle it seems. SWFA had a handful in green german 4 reticle but sold out quick. So it has been released to suppliers, at least in limited numbers, but no green triangles as of yet.

We are a Master Distr. for Trijicon and have not seen a single one and have been told not till the end of April.

So what we might be seeing is ones and two’s of them coming out, but nothing in bulk.
