Trijicon RX30 mounting

I am looking into buying a Trijicon rx30 with an A.R.M.S. quick detach mount. Will I have to put a spacer between the reflex and the ARMS mount in order to clear the front post sight on my AR? Or will the sight clear the front post without the spacer? TIA

Assuming that the RX30 is the same as my RX06 in the way that it attaches to the mount, you would need to put a riser between the ARMS mount and the upper. You can’t put anything between the Reflex and the provided mounts, due to the way that they attach.

I have my RX06 in a cantilever mount on an A1 receiver. The front sight post isn’t an issue for me. If you get your optic high enough to clear the front sight post, you are going to have a terrible/nonexistent cheek weld.

I really like my RX06 for what I use it for. In certain circumstances it has drawbacks. In all of those circumstances, my irons pick up the slack. There are better options if you are in a line of work where you might get shot at. I am not LE or MIL so I am happy with mine.
