Trijicon HD night sights

Trijicon has come out with 1911 HD night sights for guns with the Novak dovetails. I got to check out a friend’s Glock with a set and they are very fast to pick up and align. The front is available in orange or yellow and should be a great new option. More durable than a fiber optic and almost as fast to pick up.

Midway has the yellow one in stock. They aren’t even on Trijicon’s website yet.

I’ve seen them on GLOCKS and they look pretty good but they are about 25% more expensive than Ameriglos and I can’t justify the cost difference. I’ve had no issues with any of the Ameriglos I’ve been running.

I have the Ameriglos on two M&Ps and swear by them. But, I didn’t think that they made them for 1911s.

Trijicon makes two versions of the HD sights for the 1911. One is cut for Colt and the other is cut for Novak.

We have them on order, but don’t know when they will be in.

Any idea when the orange front will be available?

No idea.

I just got off the phone with Trijicon customer service, the orange front will be available in 1-2 months. For those that want to know the sight dimensions are: front is .215 tall x .146 wide, rear is .337 tall and the notch is .169 wide.
