I just installed a Magpul MIAD grip and I am curious if I did something wrong… after installing the grip, I did a basic function test and when I tested the trigger reset there was a noticeable physical and audible ‘click’ when the trigger was moved forward and I don’t recall feeling or hearing that click before… I am still relatively new to the AR platform and I am concerned that I did something to the internals while swapping out the pistol grip, any ideas?
It is normal.
feeling/listening for the reset as a felt and audible click are actually part of a basic FCG function check. if you ever cant get an audible/feelable reset click, you know you have a problem.
