I’ve come across military gear being sold through CL. I need to contact 29 Palms CID (Provost) but I cannot find a civilian number.
Impossible to prove by CID.

Click on the phone directory which opens a pdf. Page 28, under G-7, is the Provost Marshal’s Office. There’s a lot of numbers that might be able to address your question, but the CID front desk is (760) 830-6820. (you might want to double check the number…it’s not like I’ve ever screwed up writing a phone number down).

Well this one can be locked, they do not want to pursue this based on DRMO release of equipment. Basically it can be bought at DRMO now and proving it is stolen is almost impossible.
