I bet you were one of " those guys", listing a SCAR for 5K a couple of years ago as well.
If that works for you, then go for it, but there were also plenty of other companies selling SCARs at the normal markup…
When I catch a dealer pulling a stunt like that I write them off and will NEVER, EVER buy from them again. The good thing about capitalism is that it goes both ways and there is always another company to buy from.
I don’t know what CO gun sales markup is, but I would think it’s significant. We’ll see what happens. It will all come out in the wash…if SIG starts selling SAN parts at 50% of CO gun sales price, then I say yay! If customers lose faith over Co gun sales for their gouging then I’m good with that as well.
You can take advantage of people and increase your bottom line, but don’t ever mistake that for good business.
