I’ve bought a few NFA firearms but never sold one as I’m about to do.
My question from those of you that have done this is what exactly I need to do to sell this machinegun I have. IE what forms to use, etc.

If you are selling it to either a individual or a dealer you will transfer it with ATF Form 4. If it was going to a government agency it would be a ATF Form 5.
For a basic transfer direct to another individual in your state the ATF Form 4 in duplicate, 2 FD258 fingerprint cards and a certification of compliance form.
If it is going to an individual in another state of course it will have to be transferred to a dealer in that state and then to the individual.

Confirming what I initially thought. since it’s out of state it’s transferred to the dealer. then again to him.

Since you are going to transfer it to a FFL/SOT dealer all you will need to complete is the front side of the ATF Form 4 in duplicate.
