Training in Illinois

I have a cousin who lives in Chicago and is now looking to get his gun registered. He’s already got a glock 26 but he had to keep it at his parents (in oregon) before he moved over there.

To get his Glock registered though you have to have training so I was just wondering if any of you mid-west members had recommendations for training facilities that were within an hour or so of Chicago.
