Would it be possible to do two things.

#1 Keep AARs separate from anoucements (sub-subforums???)

#2 For announcements, could we get them regionalized? I live in the San Antonio Texas area and am hoping for some training to come my way that I can attend. TX is a big state. A 5 hour drive to Dallas or 3+ to Houston doesn’t work easily for me, but, at least I would have to scour (spelling?) the whole forum just to see what’s coming where.

  1. AAR threads should include the term “AAR” or “Review” or something in the thread to clearly mark it as an AAR rather than a course offering.

  2. The current organization of the training forums is centered on the offerings from the training companies/trainers who advertise courses on our forum. It gives them one place where they can go and post all their courses and one place they can refer everyone to. I don’t know that posting in lots of different regional places would be popular.

I get what you are saying and it would have some potential benefit for the guy looking for training in his area, but the logistics of making it work are complicated. Maybe a few of the mods/staffers can figure something out.

Thanks for the response…just one of those things that if it was easy to do, it would be very nice, but it’s not like it’s hard to go through the forum.
