The last 2 years been training mostly with waly world federal 223. There is starting to be a better selection and price on training ammo. I have 2 classes coming up and need to stock up. A2G has hornady training @ .28 rnd, pmc @ .33 rnd and drs @ .30 . The drs is a once fired brass. I know there is 2 camps (brass vs: steel). Classes are expensive and I don’t want to be the guy with ammo problems.
I just got a case of Federal American Eagle .223 55gr FMJ AE223AF 30rd boxes on stripper clips for $282 delivered.
That was .28/rd delivered to the door. Also, my experience with the Hornady training is par for the members here; excellent ammo with no issues.
that’s a good deal - where from ???
Palmetto State Armory, I need to adjust my math. Not enough coffee this morning. I just went to the garage and looked, it is a 900rd case, not a 1,000; making it .31/rd delivered. Still a good deal in my book.
