I thin a lot of guys are missing the point. He may not NEED a SCAR but its a damn good rifle to have. Just like guys dont need 10 AR15s. Dotn try to justify not getting one when you cant justify getting one. WHay have different color shirts and pants? When blue jeans will do the same thing as any other pants? Why have more than one channel on tv? Its a good rifle and he would still have more than one AR so whats not to like?
Get rid of two of the 6920s and buy a SCAR.
6920s are a dime a dozen and anybody can own one.
It’s great to see such good guns available at these prices. Now no one has an excuse to buy shit guns.
+1 on keeping 2 6920s and getting a SCAR or an ACR…I have heard ggod things about the ACR. I have also heard that the SCAR is a dream to shoot, so it’s up to you.
I LOVE my SCAR. BUT. Until we can freely get spare parts and barrels for the SCAR, I wouldn’t have it as my only 5.56 carbine… even with a spare.
