TR24 vs RMR LED 4 moa

I am waiting patiently on the TR24 or an RMR LED 4moa . Have not made up my mind yet on which one to buy.

I have a 6920 and have already installed the Troy rear buis , My question is, Will the TR24 allow the irons to co-witness at 1X ? or do you just flip the lever (larue LT mount) and remove a failed TR24 (in case of a failure) ?

Will I have to remove the fixed front sight base and install a low profile flip up front sight in order to use the TR24 ?

Thanks in advance for any advice on the matter.

No.

Yes.

No.

Thanks Gutshot,

Does anyone know if Larue makes or plans to make a primary mount for the RMR ?

I know trijicon has one of their own, but will that be the only option for mounting the RMR as a primary optic ?
