TR24 Parallax

For the folks who have been using the Trijicon TR24, at 1X, how much of an issue is parallax with the triangle compared to an Aimpoint? Does it have to be seen in the middle of the scope to be properly aligned with the POI?

I doubt you’d be able to notice much difference at all.

Even an RDS has some amount of parallax it’s just insigificant. It’s always preferable to center the dot.

Parallax adjustment only really becomes an issue with high magnification scopes at extended ranges.

Parallax would be the very last consideration if you were pondering a choice between the two.

Aimpoint and Eotechs are both parallax free. With a parallex free optic you can have the dot anywhere in view and you will maintain the same point of impact. Now a scope with a fixed set of crosshairs or post you have to maintain the same cheek weld and eye relief to maintain the exact same POI. That is not to say you can not still hit a closer target with a modified cheek weld and eye relief, but at distance if can and most times will effect the POI.
