Touch-up Barrel Finish?

The barrel of my new 6920 has a couple of shinny places on it. Is there a good way to touch-up these areas?

Birchwood Casey aluminum black will work very well.

I found DuraCoat “Colt Gray.” Has anybody tried it on a Colt barrel?

I refinished a shaved FSB with BC aluminum black and it looks ok. I didn’t prep the metal as well as I should have since it was going to be covered with a rail and rarely visible. If you degrease properly and maybe scuff any oxidation away, for small scratches it should look pretty good.
