Anybody ever had any dealings with this guy? I was at the gunshow in Fredericksburg, VA today and he was saying how much he thinks Daniel Defense and Troy suck. He said that Troy rails are “half-ass” and that DD rails are so close to the barrel that you could “fry an egg on the handguards.” He said some other stuff, too. Seemed like a very opinionated guy. I was under the impression that DD and Troy produce very good products. Anybody used any of Tony’s custom uppers or know anything about them?
Just look at what he is selling. I see 1x9 barrels made from Chrome moly. Since he is bashing DD and Troy what rails does he recommend? I don’t see anything of quality listed at his site and anyone who attacks like that has issues.
Yeah, I saw that his barrels were 1X9 and I wouldn’t consider buying his stuff because I don’t trust off brand AR parts at gun shows. He didn’t recommend any brands. He just trashed DD and Troy.
Most of the parts Tony sells are of lower quality in my opinion. The barrels he sells are not marked except with 1/9 and he would not tell me who manufactured them. He seems to sell a lot of uppers at the shows I have been to. During the panic buying season he could not keep enough parts in stock to satisfy the demand. I have never purchased anything from them as I can get better quality parts from Bravo Co. , PK Firearms, etc. for less than he is charging.
Just looked at his (shitty) site which barely has any pictures of his products. I tend to not believe those that attack reputable products because they most likely sell crap.
