I recently took my SBR out that I installed a Timney Skeletonize 3.5lb trigger with KNS anti roll pins.
It would shot and eject a round, chamber a round. But the trigger didn’t reset. I pulled back the charging handle back about 3 inches and it would reset and fire.
Long story short, I took the Timney trigger out and installed the factory trigger and it had zero failures and went bang everytime.
I contacted Timney and Jeff said send it back and we will send you a new one. Should I just keep the stock trigger installed?
I have the same trigger in my BCM, but haven’t got a chance to shot it yet.
+1 for Timney Triggers for excellent customer service.
Sell them and buy a Geiselle Super 3 gun or Super Dynamic 3 gun.
You know anybody interested in a New Timney Skeleton 3.5lb. trigger (small pins)?
That’s what EE is for.
I bought a POF-415 new in June '08, and the trigger seized up shortly after I did some personal training (he warned me that was not the best trigger for a defensive carbine), in fact (less than 500 rounds on the rifle). To Timney’s credit, they made it right, for free, & I appreciate that.
I went to a 2-stage trigger, before selling the rifle altogether, but I would have to concur; the Timney might be GREAT in an SPR, hunting rifle, or dedicated paper puncher. I run Gieselle triggers now in my fightin’ carbines. FWIW.
I’m curious, you are selling the trigger on the EE but you claim it has never been used…but it obviously has because you say you had an issue with it in this thread during use. What is your definition of “Never used”?

I have a Timney Skeleton 3lb. Drop in trigger (Small Pin).
Asking $175 since I don’t have the package it came in.
Everything is included (set screws, allen wrench, sticker)
Never used.
Payment accepted is USPS MO or Paypal (Gift Option Only)
I have 100% feedback on Gunbroker and EBay.
I did get a replacement. I sent the old one back to Timney and Jeff Doge sent me a new one.
You are such a *******. You have no idea about anything Euro. No your Facts before saying “Buyer Beware”
And if you read it correctly the one I have for sale is the one I took out of my BRAND NEW BCM LOWER, because the buyer of my lower did not want that trigger. So that I would lower the price on the BCM Lower. I have all the emails to prove this from another member here.
So go pick on someone else before making accusations.
Definition of “Never Used” is No Round Count.
And the one that I had problems with I sent back to Timney and received a new one.
Email Jeff @ Timney and he will confirm that I sent one back and a received a new one. I don’t even know why I have to explain myself? Do you want a picture to prove it?
Why did you edit you post saying “Buyer Beware”?
Here is what Eurodriver posted before he edited it. This from the email I received.
Did you send this trigger back to Timney and are now selling the one in the EE? I doubt it, unless it was overnighted both ways and Timney got to your issue immediately.
You just ooze of being unethical, with your threads asking “if you should sell or keep” before you had access to the EE and now this?
Buyer beware.
I editted my post because I realized you are not worth arguing with, not because I didn’t mean what I said.
Enjoy being a scumbag.
Edit: You’re on my ignore list. Don’t bother replying or PMing me.
You have serious issues. And your name calling shows it. LOL.
Okay, jackass…
Yeah, Euro started something up that you didn’t like. I get it.
You can’t reasonably justify to me why you thought the dustup should be continued in public, instead of left to email or PM.
You can’t reasonably justify to me why YOU didn’t hit the Report Post button and bring this to the attention of the forum staff. Somebody else with a better sense of responsibility did it for you.
So, take your LOL and shove it up your 4th point of contact.
Euro, you should hold your actions up to some self-assessment on the basis of the above two points, also. You’ve been around long enough to know better than to tardfight like this.
