Threaded barrel for a SIG ?

I have a Blackwater 226 and will be gettting a osprey suppressor
what threaded barrel would you get ?

Are you meaning aftermarket or factory? I prefer factory parts, unless you can find a quality polygonal aftermarket barrel.

I’d always get factory original when you have a company such as Sig, HK, and Glock that sell them.

Remember that the Sig factory threaded barrel for 9mm is NOT, I repeat, NOT 1/2x28 TPI. Sig uses the M13.5x1 LH on their factory threaded barrels in 9mm and M14.5x1 LH on their 40 cal./.357 Sig barrels.

I would go with a factory barrel before an aftermarket. I’m not saying that aftermarket barrels are bad (If I remember right, wasn’t that the only way to suppress a Glocks for some time?) but my trust always goes to factory parts before aftermarket. If the thread pitch does not match your suppressor then I would not hesitate to go with a quality aftermarket barrel.

You are, of course, correct on the thread pitch. I guess I was working under the assumption that the OP would select the proper matching thread systems during the purchasing.

Thanks for the heads up about threads
