Thoughts on this ammo?

I know the differences between M193 and M855 but when you add XM and “F” and “BK” suffixes and everything else its hard to keep track of whats what.

I’ve shot over 1k rounds of PMC x-tac M855 through a BCM M4 and midddy. Never had one malfunction but accuracy left a bit to be desired.

My middy is fairly new so I’m really just looking for a change of pace and to try some different ammo.

I’m confused on the differences between the Federal ammo and the Federal American Eagle ammo. I know this isn’t self defense or match ammo but is it worth stocking up on? Any info or recommendations are much appreciated.

XM193 is good ammo. I like it because I can get 1k rounds for $280-300. The suffixes indicate packaging (BL for 100 round pack, J for 30 round box, etc), so it’s the same ammo.

I’ve never understood their American Eagle line because they stamp it onto some XM193 packages while only putting Federal on others. Maybe someone can chime in on that.
