Thoughts on the Kriss Super Vector CRB

Hello everyone…

I was thinking of purchasing a Kriss Super Vector CRB. Does anyone already have this? Thoughts on the gun? Pros / Cons? Any replies are much appreciated.

How does the KRISS even fall under Precision Rifle?

Just dont bother. The one’s I’ve seen in action were finicky pieces of crap. Get yourself an HK USC or Beretta Storm if you want a .45ACP PCC. If you want something ‘funky looking’, get an AUG or FS2000. Any of the above will be miles better than the silly Kriss

Yeah… even on TV the gun didn’t impress.

ive heard bad things about the USC from very reputable sources.

do you own one? or have experience? what are the pros and cons?

I own one and have had no negative experiences except for pain in my right buttock(wallet area).

Mine is converted, did everything myself with stock parts & a HDPS block. Never had a hiccup with .45 ball, although I’ve never tried defensive ammo in it. Also for T1 use, the top of the front site is shaved off.

Check out the LAV’s TacTv episode featuring the UMP.

what was your total cost on that build? and thanks for the info

I get to play with one on a regular basis and we’ve never experienced any issues outside of burning through ammo too quick! This one eats Wolf like candy…and does it quickly and quietly

I have no direct experience with the HK.

The USC is, at its core, a UMP. The UMP is a fine submachine gun.

The obvious cons to the USC are the ban-era configuration and low capacity magazines. Internally, functionally, its excellent.

The conversion cost is very high, but you will have a near perfect UMP copy. Of course there is nothing wrong with the USC in original ‘sporter’ form, its just not as ‘combat ready’

Honestly, I couldn’t tell you. Basically, cost of a USC
I did all the machining/work
add HDPS stock block.
the cheapest method for parts is to find someone willing to demill or find a demilled parts kit. Individual pieces new from Adam Webber(HKPARTS) will add up quick. I think I bought a parts kit for 800, but I’ve seen them cheaper since. I needed an original barrel:ph34r:

Well I broke down and got one. Honestly I LOVE IT! I took it out to the desert and shot a metal target (Approxiamtely 2 feet in diameter) at about 100 yards (estimate). With a EoTech 512 mounted on top, I was hitting the target every single time.

Field stripping and cleaning the Kriss was super easy. The mechanics of the rifle is actually very ingenious. The recoil system makes the gun shoot with very minimal recoil therefore letting you keep it on target. A 13 round magazine of .45 ACP was shot as fast as I could pull the trigger. Down range yielded 13 “dings” on the metal target!!!

I know this is a bad picture… it was taken from my iPhone.

Always been interested in the super V. How have these performed at higher round count for you guys that own one. Sbr would be a cool backpack or lightweight setup. Also are they available in most pistol calibers? 9 ,.40, and .45?

Personally I only used the Glock 21 magazine with a 13 round capacity. Never had a malfunction. I purchased the Kriss magazine extension which turns the Glock 13 rounder to a 30 rounder. Unfortunately I have had a chance to take it to the range and test it. I will keep you updated.

As for different calipers, Kriss only makes it in .45 ACP. I haven’t heard any news about .40 or 9mm.
