I’m kinda new here and just picked up a LWRC M6 SPR and the barrel is actually forged into the upper. I find that pretty cool and kinda odd at the same time. Anybody have thoughts on these new rifles? I personally love mine
There are quite a few threads on LWRC rifles if you do a search, and they don’t get much love on this site. I don’t mind them, but their new rifles use too many proprietary parts and roll pins galore to really appeal to me. Quite frankly they are a bitch to work on and do a detail strip and they share very few common parts with the rest of the industry, which scares me with the pending purchase of LWRC by Colt.
I hear you there, just from looking at it. I haven’t had time or effort to strip it down and see what I’m working with. I know they have tried to transform it to its ultimate form but i’m not so sure… It shoots nice and doesn’t get dirty. I’m kinda excited to round up parts for a MK12 MOD1
I bet their customer service it GREAT!
Don’t support that fukking Cock Roach company until the whole COLT purchase possibly shakes loose the scumbags that make up that weasel ass operation.
LWRC kidnapped Markm’s family.
I heard that they are holding his favorite dog hostage.
I honestly can’t read that without laughing. Sig worthy.
I’ve never even held one of their ARs, so I don’t know much about them. Hopefully Colt will bring them into line, and I’m glad they’re leaving that POS state of Maryland. (the free state— my ass)
First it was the family, and then the dog. Word has it now that they’ve begun squatting on his property and have erected “Obama for America” signs on his roof.
Had no problems with mine, it was great other than heavier than my DI ARs.
id love to own one but im behind the curve on why they are such a black sheep in the community.
I love my new M6IC. Just installed the UCIW stock, a new Magpul K2 PDW grip and KAC URX 3.1 rail panels. The rifle is very accurate with the Aimpoint T1 that I have installed on it and I have never had a failure of any kind.
No problems whatsoever in dealing with LWRCI. Every part that I have ordered, they have charged me for and then sent straight away to me. Never had a problem. The rifle has been perfect and has never had a problem, so I have not contacted LWRCI Customer Service. If there are CS issues, I wouldn’t know about them.

I also have a new LWRC SPR, I like it. The rifle is pretty solid and is well made. Since Colt is buying out, it will be my last one. I wanted to get an LMT but the SPR was in stock. Now I will get the LMT next. I am interested in their new quick barrel change model in 556 and 6.8 .
I also have an LMT MRP CQB in 5.56. It’s a great rifle but the lack of conversion kits had me looking for something else multi-caliber. The LMT has been given to my daughter. My LWRCI M6IC was purchased to replace the LMT, because I realized that I just didn’t need the multi-cal feature in a semi-auto carbine. A Desert Tech SRS-A1 Covert will solve that issue for me. However, if the DT MDR proves to be a winner, my new a IWI Tavor and maybe even the IC, will be sold to help finance that purchase and get me a true multi-cal carbine. Only time will tell. As I get older my plan is to have less of everything, including rifles. My 2-gun plan may become a reality.

How many reformations does this company need? lol
If I was in the market for getting one, I’d wait a couple of years. As far as I’m concerned, there was nothing LWRC has produced that was innovative, ground breaking, or added any additional benefit or significant improvement to the AR design, that wasn’t already available, other than to add another roll mark to the market.
This.
I have nothing against them, but they have simply created a heavier AR. Wait for colt to work some magic on them…keep an eye for lighter, simpler products that have more consistent qc.

Because they pissed off markm!
The LWRCI M6 is a nice rifle. i have owned several over the last few years in several different versions and they have all gone bang, EVERY time!! I started with a BM and then a Rock River. I started researching and heard about the piston rifles…then I purchased my first piston… a 5.56 made by LWRCI. I have made several changes involving LWRCI rifles but one thing has continued to impress me…utter reliability! Since getting involved with this forum, I have owned a couple newer LWRCI 5.56 rifles but have gotten into Colt and BCM recently. LWRCIs are heavy but run reliably and do not stop running! I currently have a BCM ELW KMR13 upper coming this week and am looking forward to putting it through its paces…! From what I have read, it should not disappoint!!! From my point of view…LWRCI makes a good weapon…take it for what it’s worth…“Try it…you’ll like it…”
The m6ic line is great. I’ll never understand the hate. I think it’s 90% inflated, people just jumping on a hate bandwagon. Like a mark larue thread. I bet 99.9% of the people never had any direct experience with him, but he’s an a hole according to them in said. thread. And LWRC sucks big time? Just not true. Bottom line it’s just an opinion. They build great rifles. Try and hate the new pdw.
