I’m in the process of building a 6.5 grendel rifle and will be needing a scope for it. The rifle will be mainly for target with some hunting thrown in there (coyote and maybe deer). For the most part the gun will be shot at the range and furthest distance would be around 600-800yds.
Ive always been told that for every 100yds you want to have 1x magnification.
So would a 1-6 would be decent enough? Would it be enough to shoot an IPSC sized steel target?
I do like the way those NF compact scopes look but I cant drop that kind of coin on one.
