This mount allows a large amount of flexibility in mounting positions and is designed to allow you to mount your light further forward on the rail in order to save space for your hand. It also tucks the light in tighter to the rail, reducing the overall width of your weapon. This particular model has the 1.030" ring and is designed for Surefire G2 and G3 flashlights. Other flashlights with the similar diameter as the G2/G3 series will also fit.
