He’s opppsed to feds spying on US citizens which has always been popular with gop politicians and voters, same as with democrat politicians and voters.

I would think that if we had people in office that believed in the Constitution, something like this would never even be up for a vote and if somehow it did get brought up it should be 100% of both houses shutting it down.
We do know that the FISA courts are a rubber stamp from 1979 to 2012 they only turned down 0.03% of request for wiretaps. Which please think about what a bunch of idiots the FBI is . Do we really think a less than 1% turn down rate really means the FISA court is protecting the Rights of the people . Or is it just a rubber stamp for government overreach?
