The only reason for this abortion of a pistol is compliance with a poorly phrased attempt to logroll a purely political agenda.

Using a temporary majority to force radical changes in law is not the sign of a statesman. See, Obamacare for a similar situation (except, the ACA does not have an expiration date). :mad:
