I payed $.27/round for 5.56 this summer. I feel lucky that I can PRE-ORDER ammo at $.34/round now. I need more ammo but that’s just goddamn ridiculous.
Anything anyone can do to quell the panic-buying desire? I would pay money to get video of Obama shooting an AR and singing its praises, anything to calm people down so ammo can be cheaper…
I don’t think it will get better this time. Either way I am just going to bite the bullet and go ahead and start reloading. I shoot too much to keep paying these prices. Luckily I have been saving my brass for quite a while now.

115/124gr. 9mm FMJ is averaging around $12/50 right now. It used to be closer to $10. Not too bad, but it is increasing nontheless.
Between politics and the drop in the value of our dollar, get used to it.
