Don’t hold out on us! (or me at least, lol) ![]()
I’ve also read other complaints on ARFCOM concerning the qulaity of the finish othe 107. Is it really crappy (I’ve heard it chips and flakes easily), or is it something that has been addressed by Arsenal?
Thanks
I called the “source” (sportingarms.com) and they were out of stock…oh well, I tried.
The finish on their stamped guns isn’t great but its an AK for Pete’s sake. I wouldn’t get sucked into the “fit and finish” crowd over there. I have two stamped Arsenals and both are fine. It’s not the best finish in the world but its not the worst either.
Told you! I must be psychic!!

Or an employee…hmmmmmm
You’ve got a point, but this isn’t a wasr we’re talking about, it’s an $800-900 AK coming from a company that is (or was) considered “top of the line”. For that kind of money I think it gives people the right to expect a little more, but to each his own. That being said, I’ll probably end up with one because I’m not seeing anymore milled rifles around this area anymore. Too bad the prices got hiked up also, now I’m trying to see if a sale will pop up.
At least it can be refinished easily if so desired…
Also, where would vectors figure in?
Most of this thread is still relevant, although the pricing has increased dramatically since I started it.

Vectors with a hard chrome barrel are very nice builds.
