Over 500 troopers called their union hall in the last 2 days. Their collective message is NO! If you do not speak out against this legislation or prove to us your working behind the scenes to undermine it, then we are collectively voting to with hold the political action fund and take you out of office as our reps. All brought to you by vets in the ranks, who refuse to be involved in this unconstitutional parade at the risk of their jobs.

Glad some folks remember they are a first line of defense of the citizenry and not armed enforcers for the government.
You see, it only takes a match to get the kindling going, hopefully there is enough fuel around to get the fires burning. Man I would love to see more of the rank and file LEOs join them. That would start to set the local politicians on their collective ears. Salute goes out to the NYSP.

That would be a nice motto to replace the traditional “To protect and serve” which sounds nice but does not acknowledge the heavy handed nature of govt. Localities hire police to be a line of defense against violence and chaos, not to be hired guns working against us. Most troopers are probably very aware of this but the political leadership seems to forget. Should be stamped on their badges, with pride.

Actually that is what the Thin Blue Line is supposed to represent, the line separating criminals from the citizenry. Unfortunately some douchebags began to see it as a line that separates the police from the citizenry, sadly this includes some LEOs as well.
500+ is a great amount considering that they are around 6,000 I believe and it should keep going up.
