I have a nice little check coming in on Friday morning and already have it spent on a Colt 6920MP. I had planned on ordering from G&R, but they are unforunately out of stock. Then I was just going to order the base 6920 and then order a CTR stock and handguards. Again, G&R is out of stock.
Fortunately, I found the 6920MP from GT Distribtors. The guy I talked to yesterday said that they do 2-day shipping on their rifles so I should have it by Tuesday at the latest.
Anyone have the 6920 MagPul edition? Any insight you can offer is appreciated. This is going to be the longest five days of my life. :mad:
I know how that goes. I waited almost 5 weeks for my special order bolt gun to come in. Maybe 5 weeks isn’t bad, but that’s after they said it would probably be here in a few days and now my schedule is such that I probably won’t have a chance to get to the range for the next month or so, so the wait continues.
Hawaii has some funky laws. When I buy a pistol, I have to register it and then wait 14 days for the permit to clear before I can take possession of the pistol. And that is for EACH new pistol. Luckily for long guns, it’s a one time wait of 14 days, but that permit is only good for 1 year.
FWIW, 2 days for shipping sounds great to me. It’s usually around 3-5 days for shipping to Hawaii. 2nd day air via UPS or FedEx is usually quite pricey.
